I looked forward to ordering from Sprig for weeks. I finally did and WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT. The food is delivered quickly and tastes okay but is nothing like the portion sizes or beauty pics displayed. If youre going to use gorgeous food photography, make an honest attempt to recreate the experience for customers.

I unsubscribed yet you guys still send me daily emails. This gets annoying real quick.

Best of the food apps

Fast, tasty, and healthy. Love it. Please fix your UI to work on 4 inch screens and the simulated 4 inch screen when the app is run on iPads though. Sometimes the Add button on everything but the top item isnt tappable and items litterally cant be ordered on smaller screens. Its been a problem for over 6 months, surprised its still an issue. Thanks for the great food and service though!!

I like that they have healthy options and give you all the nutritionist info. Got my free meal which was actually good, balanced, though dont expect it to look like the pictures. It looks exactly like if you were to cook it yourself. Good idea but I dont think Id order again with the prices & delivery cost.

Out of all the food delivery apps, Sprig has shown the most promise. Theyre trying to marry quality ingredients with efficient service, which is undoubtedly an extremely difficult task in their industry. That said, as they scale, their consistency is going down a bit. Some days are great, others are meh. If I were them, I would make their NPS scores a top 3 priority for 2016. We get the economics need to work out, but top-line will fall if your quality drops. Please dont turn into Munchery or another competitor will emerge from the ashes.

After hearing a great interview with the founder on this week in start ups I decided to try Sprig. The app design is great and easy to use. Small enhancements like opting out of silverware and bags in the latest version are smart. One request is maybe opt out of direct door delivery and meet the driver at the curb for $1 off? I love the philosophy of the menu. Organic ingredients and restaurant quality preparation make for good meals. The portion size is good, as an active 25 year old male I am not hungry afterwords and stuffed. After a workout I would probably want something a little more. My one complaint is both meals I have gotten the protein has been over cooked. Might be a causality of the delivery model. The price is the main reason for the -1 star. I love that you dont have to worry about tipping, but I feel like I would order more often for $12 all in instead of $16.
