Sprig: A modern eatery designed to deliver App Reviews

As someone with food allergies, I love that Sprig lists every single ingredient. Thank you. I also had a good customer service experience when I called to get more information about whether the salsa for a certain dish was on the side. However, Id like to see things like this (what is already combined vs. on the side) incorporated into the ingredients list as Sprig scales. Also, while I understand the decision to allow no modifications given the business model of the service, Id like to see more options in the future so those of us whose food choices are limited can partake. On the whole, Im happy with my very quick delivery, food and overall experience.

Portion size is way too small for the price. Food looks terrible when it arrives... like it has been sitting in a car for hours. Pass.

I ordered twice. The first time, my order came in about 50 minutes, instead of the 15 indicated on the screen, and the food was cold. The second time, they left items off my order.

Every meal Ive had from sprig has been great. I order from them a couple of times a week. Great if I only need dinner for myself. They show the nutrition facts and explain exactly what is in the dishes.

Choices are decent and speed is great hence two stars Food itself is okish and usually not that great. It is also roughly three dollars too expensive

Delivery folks are always very friendly and fast - food has always arrived before the time estimate. The meals are consistently tasty and they have a lot of good options to choose from. Highly recommend!

I was very enthusiastic about that service but I have to say, I send them bad feedback almost every time I order Sprig. There is always something, it is either the delivery person that was negligent with the delivery, or the ETA that tells you 15 minutes wait and you end up waiting 40, or simply the food itself that doesnt quite correspond to pictures and descriptions. The only reason why I keep ordering is because they give me credit every time so I always give it another chance. But honestly I think I am close to the bottom line with Sprig.

Sprig is obnoxious. If you close the app before you pay it cancels your order. If you enter your card wrong it cancels your order. They dont hold your things you want for you while you try to buy them. Also the point of these apps is more affordable delivery food. A sandwich and an ice cream shouldnt cost $25.

Food for the gods!! Food is amazing, great taste, great sizes. This is not fast food. If youre looking for American oversized greasy portions go elsewhere. This is geared towards healthy lifestyle people. Also this is delivery, sure the pictures they provide are amazing but when you actually get the food its usually a big mush. Keep in mind it is delivery so do not feel cheated out on it. My only gripe is with the delivery people. They seem to have a hard time getting out of the car and bringing food to the door. Most items are only available for a few minutes per day, and there is no means to pre-order—especially bad for vegetarians. I will stick to one of their dozen competitors that can actually provide me with food.

I started out on Sprig because I wanted to get a free meal with an introductory promo code, as I have done countless times with the many food delivery startups that have come out recently. For almost all of these services, I did not use them more than one or two times, usually because their delivery fees were outrageous or they didnt offer me more than Grubhub simply did. However, Sprig sets itself apart for multiple reasons. 1) FAST delivery times. I get my food delivered as fast as in 10 minutes and as late as 40. On average, its about 25 minutes, which is incredibly awesome and way better than any other delivery service Ive tried. 2) Reasonable prices. Id say a meal averages $12 on Sprig, which is decent for the service offered and the fact that its cooked by them using high quality ingredients. Delivery fees are low too, and even better if you get their $10 a month Sprig Go subscription to eliminate delivery fees. 3) Wholesome food with informative nutritional information. I can trust that I am eating relatively clean and have the power to make informed decisions about what I choose to eat. They even categorize the food options by heaviness/cleanliness so you can choose even more easily. 4) Awesome customer service. If a delivery is late, I will pretty much always get some credit back in my account. If an order is wrong, I can easily call support to fix it pretty quickly. If I was highly unsatisfied with my food or some accident happened, I might get full credit back or even a refund. Extreme dissatisfaction is rare, but it happens, and they do a great job of reconciling it. 5) Awesome app. It looks nice and functions well. Theyve added new little things since I first started using it to make the UX even better; one small example is asking for your buzzer code and floor so you dont have to specify specific instructions like that in the delivery instructions. You can track your delivery until it gets to your door, and itll prompt you for feedback at the end of your meal, which customer support does read! Ive had credit awarded back for small dissatisfactory comments Ive mentioned in the feedback. 6) Of course, the food is actually good! I especially like the weekend brunch options. Sprig is basically my go to food choice if Im not cooking and I want something quick and reasonably priced. Ive been using it for about 4 months and Ive been thoroughly impressed with this product for which I had 0 expectations to begin with. I wasnt looking for a go to food service, but Sprig pleasantly surprised me and I have been using it ever since.

I like that they offer healthy menu options and give you a nutritional breakdown for each item. The food was good, dont get me wrong. But for $15, I definitely expect a bigger portion. I ended up cooking a second dinner immediately after finishing my meal from Sprig.
